Highlighting an important message from our last update.
For all of us around the world, these last few weeks have been unprecedented. Here in Costa Rica, yes, we have over 340 confirmed cases of Corona Virus 19 (2 deaths), but churches, schools, government--everyone is responding to prevent the worst. For our part, church activities have been reduced and school is now taught from home.
But another great need is for those who are without work right now. Closures of businesses and schools and parks will affect day-wage earners significantly. We have been trying to help where possible--specifically families in church who are in that economic position.
If you would like to help out in this compassion ministry, for $23.05, you can help feed a family with basic essentials for 3 days. During this crucial time, many suffer from lack of employment–especially those who are day-wage earners, those who live day-by-day. One of the ministries we are undertaking is making sure that people who live in poverty and who have contact through our churches receive basic needs.
