Reilly Update: Remember in November to be Thankful


In every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:4-7


Just like you, our year has been one of obvious positive blessings as well as those harder “blessings” that don’t appear so pleasant—basically the hardships, struggles, anxieties, and discouragement.


In our family this year, knowing that even in those times, God walks with us, we have been challenging each other —to come back to a point of thankfulness even then.


I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength. Philippians 4:12-13

Praises, Prayer Requests, and Projects
  • Kevin will continue to minister in Querétaro, Mexico, from December 1 to 19, for an IBAC training module (Bible Institute of the Americas and Caribbean). He will also be working with Esteban and Bethany Amaya in outreach efforts into the area of Tequisquiapan for a possible church plant. Then again, he will return to Querétaro in January.


  • For Tia, this year has been a challenging one. Since 2021, she has been suffering with medical anxiety issues. Treatment has been here in Ohio, near our home church, and we are grateful for the church’s guidance through this time.

  • Tia continues to minister with Word of Life, working with their mission­aries online and has been able to expand this ministry with an administrative helper and five other volunteer teachers.


  • This year has been a ministry transition—with more and more of our efforts geared toward the work in Queretaro, Mexico, and fewer in Costa Rica. With our location in Ohio, Kevin’s ministry has become of a more itinerant style. Please pray for safety in travels.
