“We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.”  Romans 6:4  ESV

"In the light of the resurrection" is a phrase that refers to living with a new perspective and hope based on the certainty of Jesus' resurrection. It suggests we view life through the lens of Christ's victory over death and the promise of eternal life. The expression encourages us to see world reality by the resurrection, and to live in anticipation of Christ's return. In essence, "living in the light of the resurrection" means embracing the hope of Christ's victory over death, and living accordingly.

Having victory over death: The resurrection signifies that death is not the end, but a transition to eternal life, and a victory over sin and the powers of darkness. Jesus' resurrection demonstrates his power over death, offering believers the assurance of eternal life and a future free from the bondage of sin and death.

Prayer requests

  • Safety and health for Kevin in his travels for ministry and pastor training courses in Salamanca, Mexico in May.

  • Ministry with Keystone Baptist Church. Please join us in prayer as we continue to do outreach to the more than 80,000 Latinos in the Dayton area with the goal of planting a Spanish-speaking congregation into an existing church body.

  • Safety and wisdom for Tia as she leads a team of Cedarville students to Italy for 2.5 weeks in June.  They will be working with an evangelical center in a village in Italy to provide ESL camp for children. If you would like to help her in raising the last $200 worth of support, donations can be made online at Cedarville University Global Outreach (click here).

  • An Opportunity: Rio de Dios Church, Bolivia. For two years now, Fernando and Sudkie Peredo have led their church in reaching the neighborhood community with the Gospel. The vision is to have a space to operate a feeding center for the children who often miss meals for a full day or more. Another venture important to this and other needs is that of purchasing the building that they use to meet in. They have raised over $20,000 out of $50,000 needed before the end of 2025. They are working hard on this. We, too, are praying and asking for those who may be able and led to help in this need to please give through the Donate button on our home page (ReillysbyGrace.com). If you would like to donate another way, please email reilly.clr@gmail.com.  Thank you in advance, and thank you to so many who already helped so many other pastors in Latin America.

    With faith in Him,
