With this End-of-the-year greeting comes an enormous thank you for your prayers, support, and friendship. We are well taken care of through God’s people and their love.
As we slide from Christmas to New Years, we pray that this Christmas season has been one of remembering the reason for all that we celebrate:
But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship. Gal. 4:4-5
Since we last wrote in September, we have continued with online and in-person ministries. Kevin and church friend, Bart Sheridan ministered in Salamanca, Mexico, with the IBAC team in early November (Bible Institute of the Americas and Caribbean). For six days, they taught and trained 80 church leaders and pastors from five different area churches on the authority and reliability of Scripture.
Tia continues to minister online with non-English-speaking missionaries through the Growing in English program. She leads a group of 9 teachers who volunteer and teach English to missionaries (Word of Life International) who need the language for ministry and outreach needs (English is the current passport language or our world). Kevin currently teaches in that program as well. He is also teaching a church history course for churches in Mexico.
We also enjoy a few other in-person ministries here in Ohio. Tia has also been working part-time in Cedarville University’s international student services department, and she also serves on a local Christian school board. Both of us have also enjoyed getting to know our Spanish-speaking neighbors here in Xenia and sharing with them gospel truths.
In family news, we enjoyed two weddings in our family this year: Kaitlyn to Brandon Hermes in April, and then Tara to Joe Zavodney in June 2023. And next year! Both are expecting babies in the springtime.
We look forward to continuing ministry in 2024 with God’s blessing, for His glory, and with your partnership!
With faith in Him,
