Just a quick update to let you know some of the ministries this past week.
Voz de Libertad (Voice of Liberty) meets monthly to encourage and organize those volunteers who work in prisons in Costa Rica. This month's meeting included the distribution of more certificates for Awana Lifelines training seminar.
Three Malachi Dads groups are up and running in the APAC prison with a little over 80 men studying. Two groups of Hannah’s Gift should be starting soon in the women’s prison El Buen Pastor. And another in a men's prison is being organized.
At the Institute of Spanish Language, we have seen one group of students graduate and another group come in to start their studies. We are still trying to reach more potential students for both the language school and for Sojourn Academy. We will starting pilot programs for other offerings as well: English for Costa Rican pastors and missionaries, and Spanish-as-a-second language for Costa Ricans planning to work as tent-makers in other countries.
And at church, we enjoy not only Sunday services, but also are part of the couple's ministry and the men's and women's groups. Kevin has been leading the men's group these last few weeks with a study on the armor of God.
