Spring Brings New Beginnings

So excited to see sun shining and fresh grass growing. Our plans, too, continue to grow up and forward . . . but only with the prayers that you have been sending upward.

Since our Costa Rica trip in March, Kevin has been busy with Institute meetings via Skype, and Tia has continued with teaching at Legacy Christian Academy. But much of our time also involves steps toward a July move.

Praise the Lord with us for

  • A sweet visits with church families: Cornerstone Baptist, Springfield, OH, and People's Regular Baptist, Maybrook, NY.

  • A monthly support level of just over 95%! (If you and the Lord have been talking about the idea of being a partner with us in ministry, this would be a great time.)

  • Outfit and passage is up to 59%. (We still need to raise about $6000.) We have been so encouraged by those of you have sent gifts to help. Thank you.

  • We have a house ready to rent in San Francisco de Dos Rios (about two blocks away from the first house we rented in Costa Rica in 2005).

  • We are excited about a commissioning service on April 23. Grace Baptist, Cedarville, OH, will be sending us out--commissioning us for work with the Spanish Language Institute and with Awana Lifelines prison ministries.

  • We look forward to representatives from Awana Lifelines joining us for this morning service, and if you are within "the sound of our voice," you are certainly invited as well.

Please continue to pray for these important needs:

  • Sale of our house in Cedarville, OH.

  • Ministry presentations coming up: Community Bible Church of Pocono Lake, PA; Calvary Baptist Church, Little Egg Harbor, NJ

  • Saying goodbyes to family and friends, especially as this trip we will be leaving behind our kids and grandkids.

  • Our departure on July 4.

Him we proclaim, admonishing everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. Colossians 1:28
